2. Rupert Webb Ninetieth Birthday Sunday 12th August 2012. Boundary Rooms, Probiz County Ground. Rupert as many of you know is Sussex’s oldest surviving capped player having kept wicket for the Club between 1948 and 1959. Rupert is incredibly young, sprightly and alert for a man of his age and always amusing and entertaining. We have a maximum of one hundred places to available to celebrate with Rupert his birthday during the third day of the Middlesex match. At teatime Rupert will be joined by many former Sussex first-class cricketers and thereafter mingle with all the guests.
